On September 11, 2020, a steppe fire was discovered with a threat to the 97th quarter of the Galkinsky forestry, the Shaldai branch. 2 paratroopers-firemen of Pavlodar aviation department were landed to the place of fire to help ground forces. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized, the threat to the State Forest Fund was removed. The area of the fire was approximately 1 ha.
