On July 11, 2020, a steppe fire was discovered with a threat to the 1st quarter of the Sadykashinsky forestry, the Shaldai branch. The forces and means of the Pavlodar aviation department and the Shaldai branch were thrown into the fight against the fire element. The fire was stopped, the threat to the State Forest Fund was removed. The fire was extinguished on an area of 1.5 hectares.
