On June 23, 2020, during the air patrolling of the territory protected by the Almaty aviation department, a steppe fire was found with a threat to the 273rd quarter of Akdalinskoye lesnichestvo, Kurtinsky State University. Information about the fire was immediately transferred to the forest owner. The forces and means of the Kurtinsky State University were thrown into the fight against the fire element. Due to the timely detection and adoption of localization measures, the fire was stopped, the threat to the State Forest Fund was removed.
