On June 22, 2019 during the air patrolling of the territory protected by the Zhambyl Aviation Division, a steppe fire was discovered with the threat of the 45th quarter of Tattinsky Forestry, Merke State University. The forces and means of the Zhambyl aviation department and the Merkensky KSU were thrown into the fight against the fire element. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was stopped, the threat to the State Forest Fund was removed. The following were involved in the localization and fire prevention: a helicopter and 2 paratrooper-fire Zhambyl aviation department, 15 people of the Merkensky KSU. The fire was extinguished on an area of ​​70 hectares (steppe).
