On March 15, 2023, preparations for the 2023 fire season started at the aviation departments, as part of the preparation, a set of readiness measures will be carried out to perform forest aviation work qualitatively and in full.

Deconservation and preparation for the use and application of fire extinguishing equipment, chemicals and other necessary equipment available in the units will be carried out. Annual retraining and admission to work on extinguishing forest fires of instructors and landing personnel of the air fire service, preventive vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis will be carried out at aviation departments.

In parallel, the necessary procedures are being carried out to conclude contracts with suppliers for the provision of aviation equipment for the performance of forest aviation works, the purchase of fire extinguishing equipment, chemicals, overalls and other necessary equipment for use and use in fires. Specialists of the "Kazavialesoohrana" take part in scheduled joint meetings with forest owners, territorial inspections and other organizations.

In preparation for the fire season of 2023, in order to improve the quality of work of forest fire services of forest owners of the Karaganda region, on March 14, 2023, the head of the Karkarala aviation department of the "Kazavialesoohrana" Plotnikov T. V. held a seminar on the organization and management of forest fire extinguishing, issues of interaction between ground and aviation forces and services during extinguishing forest fires.

The purpose of the classes was to work out questions:

- interaction between aviation and ground protection of forests during forest fire extinguishing;

- conducting radio exchange with an aircraft;

- safety procedures for localization and elimination of fire involving aircraft.

The seminar was attended by heads of forest and environmental institutions, their deputies, engineers for the protection and protection of forests, foresters and heads of LPS of Karkaralinsky GNPP, Aktogay and Egindybulak farms for the protection of forests and wildlife.
