On October 20, 2020, specialists of the Karkaralinsk aviation department of the Kazavialesoohrana, together with representatives of the Karkaralinsk State Scientific and Production Enterprise, flew over the territory of the national park in order to monitor compliance with environmental management rules and identify violations of environmental legislation. During the aviation patrol, a steppe fire was discovered on the territory of the state reserve lands. Information about the fire was immediately transmitted to the ground fire fighting forces for fire containment measures.
