On September 13, 2020, a steppe fire was discovered with a threat to the 64th quarter of the Samarbay forestry, GU Bukpa. Because of the strong wind, the fire moved to the territory of the Samarbay forestry, GU Bukpa. The forces and means of GU Bukpa, Borovsk aviation department and Emergency Situations Ministry were thrown into the fight against the fire element.
