On August 11, 2020, a fire was discovered on the territory of the 6th and 10th quarters of the Oyik forestry, Akkol KSU. The forces and means of the Zhambyl aviation department and the Akkol KSU were thrown into the fight against the fire element. The fire was localized on August 12 on an area of 350 hectares.
