On May 18, 2021, 2 steppe fires were discovered with a threat to the Bayanaul SNPP. A helicopter and paratroopers-firefighters of the Bayanaul aviation department, employees of the ground forest guard with equipment were sent to the place of fires to extinguish the fires and prevent their further spread.
