MAY 10, 2021, GREAT FIRE HAPPENED IN RIDDER KSU

On May 10, 2021, a large forest fire occurred on the territory of 13,14,15,17 and 18 quarters of the Central forestry, Ridder KSU. Because of the strong wind, the fire quickly spread to other quarters of the forestry. In the course of its development, the fire also spread to residential buildings in the village of Leskhoz. To extinguish the fire, helicopters of the Kazavialesoohrana RGKP were involved: a second-class Mi-2 helicopter, from which aerial surveillance was established for the fire, and a first-class Mi-8 helicopter with an external sling spillway from which a total of 5 aimed drops water to the centers of fire, with a total tonnage of more than 10 tons of water. In total, more than 500 people were involved in extinguishing the fire, more than 50 pieces of equipment, two helicopters of the Kazavialesoohrana. After a long and stubborn struggle with the fire, the fire was contained.
