On April 16, 2021, employees of the Pavlodar aviation department flew over the protected area in a Mi-2 helicopter. During the air patrol on the territory of the 57th quarter of the Baurtal forestry, the Valdai branch, a fire was discovered. 3 paratroopers-firefighters of the Pavlodar aviation department, 15 people of the Shaldai branch and 4 units of equipment were sent to the place of fire to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread.
