LET'S SAVE FORESTS FROM FIRES!
With the onset of dry and hot weather, the fire situation in our region becomes especially tense. The cause of fires is often the human factor. More than 90% of fires are the result of human actions.
In this regard, dear residents, it is necessary to know that when visiting the forest during the fire season, it is FORBIDDEN to build bonfires in coniferous young trees, cutting areas, in places with dried grass, as well as under the crowns of trees. Do not leave unattended un-extinguished bonfires and un-extinguished cigarette butts, do not pass by un-extinguished bonfires. When the wind increases, be sure to stop using an open fire, stop children from pampering with fire!
Do not allow burning of dry grass. The burning of dry grass threatens the health and life of people, destroys the ecosystem and damages economic facilities. THE FALL OF DRY GRASS is A CRIME that is the main cause of mass fires in settlements and forest fires - PROTECT THE FOREST FROM FIRE!
Persons guilty of violating fire safety rules, depending on the nature of violations and their consequences, bear disciplinary, administrative and criminal responsibility. Remember, your negligence can cause a FIRE!

"HOT TIME"
Since the beginning of the fire season, 144 forest fires have been recorded in the serviced territory of the Bukebaevsky aviation department of the RSE "Kazavialesoohrana". The main cause of the fires were abnormal weather conditions, high temperatures and thunderstorm activity, which affected the fire danger in the forests, as a result of which the number of forest fires increased.
Most cases of forest fires occurred in the period from June to August. Due to the timely detection of forest fires by employees of the aviation department, fires were localized in small areas, which is the main task of the enterprise.
Thanks to the interaction and coherence of all fire extinguishing services, good results are achieved in detecting a fire and taking measures to extinguish it in the shortest possible time. Every minute is precious, the experience and physical training of APS employees go hand in hand.
A fire is a natural disaster that can cause great damage to the environment and wildlife. While in the forest, do not violate fire safety rules. Be careful with fire, love and take care of nature.

PROTECT THE FOREST FROM FIRES!
A natural fire is a serious danger to people and animals. What if you notice a natural fire? An incipient fire can be extinguished on its own. To do this, a bunch of hardwood branches with a length of 1.5 – 2 m is enough. By striking sliding blows on the edge of the fire from the side towards the fire source and knocking down the main flame with each subsequent blow, a bunch of branches is detained at the same place, pressed against the burning edge and turned it out. This achieves the cooling of combustible materials.
There is another way to extinguish a fire. If there is a shovel at hand, then pits or small ditches are dug along the edge of the fire, the soil from which is thrown into the lower part of the flame. First, the fire is shot down, then, after stopping the fire, the soil is again poured onto its edge
with a solid strip 6 – 8 cm high and 0.5 m wide. The spread of fire can be stopped by raking combustible materials in the way of its movement. The width of the cleared strip should be at least 0.5 m. if there is a reservoir near the place of ignition, then water is the most effective means of extinguishing fire.
If there is no way to extinguish the fire, quickly get out of the danger zone onto the road, a clearing, a wide clearing, to the bank of a river or reservoir, into the field. It is necessary to leave the forest fire zone perpendicular to the direction of movement of the fire and only to
windward. If it is impossible to escape from the fire, enter the pond or cover your head and upper body with wet clothes. Once in an open space or
clearing, breathe air near the ground, while covering your mouth and nose with cotton gauze or a damp cloth. Always remember that any fire is much easier to prevent than to eliminate.
In order to prevent a fire in the natural environment, it is prohibited:
- Build bonfires, use barbecues, other cooking appliances;
- Smoking, throwing burning matches, cigarette butts, shaking out hot ashes;
- Shoot weapons, use pyrotechnic products;
- Leave in the forest oiled or soaked in gasoline, kerosene and other combustible substances wiping material;
- Refuel the tanks of working internal combustion engines, remove equipment with a faulty engine power system for operation, as well as smoke or use an open fire near cars fueled with fuel;
- Burn grass, as well as stubble in the fields.
Be vigilant when going to nature. While in the forest, do not light bonfires on a picnic! Don't let children play with fire!
