On September 18, 2022, during an aviation patrol, employees of the Pavlodar aviation department discovered a fire on the territory of the 32nd quarter of the Galkinsky forestry of the Shaldai branch. Paratroopers-firefighters of the Pavlodar aviation department and employees of the ground forest guard with equipment were landed at the place of the fire to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized and eliminated.

On September 14, 2022, specialists of the Kostanay aviation department, together with representatives of the Naurzum GPP, flew over the protected area in order to monitor compliance with environmental management rules and identify violations of environmental legislation. No violations of environmental legislation were detected during the air patrol.
