April 18, 2020 a fire was discovered with a threat to Ulanbel KSU

On April 18, 2020, a landscape fire was discovered with the threat of a transition to the 233rd quarter of the Nizhnechuisky lesnichestvo, Ulanbel KSU. 7 paratroopers-firefighters of the Zhambyl aviation brach were sent to the place of ignition to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. After a long and stubborn fight against fire, the fire was localized on an area of 3.7 hectares, the threat to the State Forest Fund was removed. After localization, the fire was handed over to the forest owner for parasitization.
Forestry work in the Ust-Kamenogorsk aviation branch

On April 17, 2020, a flight was carried out in the protected area of the Ust-Kamenogorsk and Katon-Karagai aviation branches to inspect the territory to assess the fire situation in the forests. Together with representatives of the regional territorial inspection, along with patrolling, a raid was carried out to identify poaching. According to the results of the flight, no poaching was revealed.
In the fire hazard season of 2020, the Mi-2 helicopter is involved in the Ust-Kamenogorsk aviation branch to carry out forestry operations

On August 26, 1965, the first Mi-2 helicopter, made by Poles from Soviet components, took off in Poland. In November of the same year, the Mi-2, completely manufactured in Poland, made its first flight. Mass production of the machine was established in 1966, serial cars were slightly different from prototypes made in the USSR. They did not have a keel surface under the tail boom, the shape of the upper part of the fuselage was slightly different, the arrangement of antennas and flashing lights was changed. The Mi-2 helicopter was shown to the general public during an exhibition in Le Bourget in 1967. In the West, this machine received the designation Hoplite ("Hoplit").
In the fire hazard season of 2020, the Eurocopter EC 145 helicopter is used in the Akmola aviation branch to perform forestry operations

Eurocopter EC 145 is a multi-purpose helicopter created by the Franco-German concern Eurocopter. The helicopter was created on the basis of the Eurocopter / Kawasaki VK 117 S-1 model and originally bore the designation VK 117S-2. The new helicopter has a more spacious cabin and a large take-off mass. The nose of the fuselage was redesigned (taking into account developments in the EU 135), which allowed to reduce aerodynamic drag and improve visibility for the crew. Distinctive features of the helicopter are a rotor with an optimized profile and an updated avionics. The EU 145, unlike the EU 135, retained the classic single-rotor design.
Despite the initial plans to equip the EU 145 with a fenestron tail rotor, Eurocopter designers, after a series of experiments and analysis of the experience in developing and operating the AS 365, abandoned this idea, considering the classic propeller safe enough for a helicopter with a take-off mass of over 3.5 tons. The new machine made its first flight in 1999 and at the end of that year received the designation EC145 (but the designation VK 117 S-2 is often used).
On April 16, 2020, the staff of the Bayanaul aviation branch planted 110 seedlings of common pine

On April 16, 2020, in order to increase the number of trees of the main species and to improve the territory adjacent to the aviation branch, the staff of the Bayanaul aviation branch planted 110 seedlings * of ordinary pine. Planting of pine seedlings took place on the territory of the 39th quarter of the Zhasybay forestry of Bayanaul State National Natural Park. All planting material was provided by the Bayanaul GNPP from its nursery.
Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) - a slender tree with a round straight trunk and conical crown. In trees grown in open areas, branches are lowered to the ground. Until the age of 10-15 years it grows slowly, later much faster.
The needles are dark green, growing in bundles of two, 4-7 cm long, convex above, flat below, stiff, spiky. Male cones are numerous, gray-yellow, crowded at the base of the shoot; female cones are placed on the same tree at the tops of the shoots, grayish brown.
Scots pine has a huge distribution area, including most of the temperate climatic zone of Europe, as well as in the Asian semi-steppes and steppes. This is one of the main species that form coniferous forests, making up the main stock of wood, which is widely used in construction.
Scots pine grows up to 50 m in height. The tree has a straight trunk, almost without branches at two-thirds of the height, and the shape of the crown can be different depending on the growing conditions. In dense stands, it is more often conical, and during life in the open, it is almost umbrella-shaped.
The bark of adult trees is reddish-brown, with grooves, peeling, at the base much thicker and darker. Green needles with a bluish tint, collected in frequent bunches of two needles. The needles are oblate and long (4-7 cm), have a sharp tip. The needles live for three years, after which they turn yellow and fall.
Cones grow singly or in two or three. Young cones are dark green, conical in shape, ripen in the second year, acquiring a brownish-brown color.
Due to its extremely wide range, ordinary pine has many varieties, differing in height, crown shape of cones, and color of needles. Some forms have a pyramidal or weeping crown, and the color of the needles of young shoots varies from whitish and silver to golden green.
Pines live about 200 years, and in favorable conditions - up to 400 years. They grow rapidly, in a year the tree stretches to a height of about 50-70 cm, begin to bear fruit from the age of 15, and propagate by seeds.
Since ancient times, pine forests have been famous for their healing properties due to the special aroma that trees exude. The air next to the pine tree is rich in ozone and does not contain harmful microbes. The resin "resin" permeates the entire trunk and branches with its own moves, helps the tree heal wounds and scare away pests. And the resin itself is used in the production of rosin and turpentine.
For medical purposes, ordinary pine buds are used, collected in early spring, containing essential oils and resins. The needles contain carotene and vitamin C. The needles have long been used to treat colds, and in Russia, resin was used to strengthen teeth and oral health.
Scots pine is often used as a decorative crop. Its many varieties adorn parks and gardens. She is also planted in forest and parklands, she is actively involved in landscaping. A tree becomes the most beautiful by the age of 100, acquiring a spreading crown, a thick trunk with a bright orange-yellow color of the bark on top.
* Seedling - a young plant grown from seedling seed, usually in a nursery, for agricultural purposes, in order to obtain seedlings. Seedlings are widely used in horticulture for cultivating fruit and ornamental crops or in forestry for the purpose of reforestation. Depending on the number of vegetative seasons, seedlings can be 1-2 or 3 year old. Seedlings are cold-resistant, have good immunity to diseases.
Forestry work in the Kostanai aviation branch

On April 16, 2020, employees of the Kostanai aviation branch, together with representatives of the Naurzum State Nature Reserve, flew over the protected area on An-2 aircraft. The purpose of air patrolling was to record the fires that occurred in the protected area before the start of the fire hazard season.
During the air patrolling, radio communication with the forestries and inspectors of the state nature reserve was checked. The condition of fire roads, which serve as barriers to the spread of possible ground fires and reference lines for the localization of existing foci, was examined. In order to prevent the occurrence and spread of forest fires, the situation was specified for the start of controlled annealing.
When examining the territory of the State Forest Fund and the adjacent lands of the state reserve, the necessity of starting regular air patrolling was checked.
In the fire hazard season of 2020, the Mi-2 helicopter is involved in the Borodulikhinsky aviation branch to perform forestry operations

Mi-2 is a Soviet multi-purpose helicopter created at Mil Design Bureau in the first half of the 60s. This machine was the first Soviet serial helicopter with a gas turbine engine. Production of the Mi-2 was established in 1965 in Poland, it was produced until 1992. During this period, more than 5400 units of this machine were manufactured. The Mi-2 helicopter is still in operation today; it is used to solve a large number of both military and civilian tasks. Mi-2 has undergone modernization several times; a large number of modifications of this machine have been created. This helicopter was actively exported: its main buyer was the USSR and other countries of the Warsaw Pact. Today, the Mi-2 is used in more than twenty countries around the world.

In the fire hazard season of 2020 at the Bakanas aviation point, Partenavia P.68 aircraft was involved in forestry operations

Partenavia P.68 is an Italian twin-engine multipurpose aircraft developed by Partenavia in 1970. This twin-engine aircraft made its first flight in 1970, however, due to some technical nuances, it was put into production only in 1972, where it almost immediately received approving comments from the owners, since despite its multi-purpose use and fairly good passenger capacity , the aircraft had quite compact dimensions, which provided him with high speed and good maneuverability. Depending on the version of the aircraft, Partenavia P.68 can accommodate up to 7 people, including one pilot and six passengers, while later versions of the aircraft could take on board both more or fewer passengers. In addition, the Partenavia P.68 aircraft was also well established in the field of transportation of various kinds of cargo, in particular, up to 660 kilograms of payload could be placed on board the aircraft.
The aircraft has a fairly good maneuverability, and for the entire period of operation of this aircraft, only four serious air accidents were officially identified, some of which were associated exclusively with the human factor.

In the fire hazard season of 2020, the An-2 aircraft was involved in the Kostanai aviation branch

An-2 airplane - a biplane of mixed design - consists of an all-metal fuselage and tail unit and wings having a metal frame and fabric lining. The power plant - a piston engine ASH-62IR, with a rated power of 1000 hp, and a pulling propeller AB-2 with variable pitch - is located in the nose of the fuselage. The aircraft has a three-post fixed gear landing gear with a tail wheel. A spacious cargo and passenger cabin and a wide cargo door can accommodate up to 12 passengers or 1,500 kg of cargo. The maximum take-off weight of the machine is up to 5,200 kg, cruising speed - 185 km / h, flight range - up to 2,000 km. Practical ceiling - up to 4,500 m.
April 12, 2020 a fire was localized

On April 12, 2020, a fire occurred on the territory of the 10th quarter of the Zhasybai forestry, Bayanaul GNPP. The forces and means of the Bayanaul State National Natural Park, the Emergency Situations Department, the local akimat and the Bayanaul aviation department were thrown into the fight against the fire element. Extinguishing the fire was complicated by inaccessible terrain and strong gusts of wind. The fire was localized on an area of 7 hectares (old fire). In total, 60 people were involved in the localization of the fire, including 5 paratroopers-firefighters and the head of the Bayanaul aviation branch, 17 pieces of equipment.
