On September 27, 2020, specialists of the Akmola aviation department of the Kazavialesoohrana State Enterprise, together with representatives of the Akmola Regional Territorial Inspectorate, performed joint overflights of the protected area in order to identify the facts of the death of wild birds in water bodies in connection with bird flu in the adjacent territories of the North Kazakhstan region and Akmola region.
