On July 15, 2020, a fire was discovered on the territory of the 2nd quarter of the Shyngystaysky forestry, the Shyngystaysky branch. The forces and means of the Katon-Karagai aviation department and the Shyngystai branch were thrown into the fight against the fire element. Thanks to timely detection and localization measures, the fire was localized over an area of 0.003 hectares.
