On June 9, 2020, a fire was discovered on the territory of the 33rd quarter of the Akylbay forestry, Burabay State National Natural Park. The forces and means of the Burabay aviation department, the Burabay GNPP and the local HRC with fire extinguishing equipment were thrown into the fight against the fire element. The fire was quickly extinguished on an area of 0.01 ha.
