On June 7, 2020, during aerial patrolling of the territory protected by the Taldykorgan aviation branch, a fire was discovered on the territory of state reserve lands (bordering the Zhongar-Alatau GNPP). Information about the fire was immediately transmitted to the ground fire extinguishing services for the adoption of operational measures to localize and eliminate the fire. The forces and assets of the Zhongar-Alatau State National Natural Park and the local fire department were thrown into the fight against the fire element.
