On September 23, 2019, a fire was discovered in the floodplain of the Chu river during the air patrol of the territory protected by the Zhambyl aviation branch. There was a threat of transition of ignition to the territory of GLF. To a place of ignition 4 paratroopers-firefighters with means of fire extinguishing for suppression of a fire and prevention of its further distribution were landed. After a long and persistent struggle, the fire was localized and eliminated in all directions.
