ON JULY 25, 2022, A FIRE WAS DISCOVERED

On July 25, 2022, a fire was discovered on the territory of the 28th quarter of the Malo-Almaty forestry of the Medeu branch. Paratroopers-firefighters of the Almaty aviation department, employees of the ground forest guard and emergency personnel with equipment were sent to the place of the fire to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. Extinguishing the fire was complicated by the difficult mountainous terrain. In addition, 2 Mi-8 helicopters with spillway devices on an external suspension were involved in extinguishing the fire. In total, more than 30 targeted water discharges were carried out on fire centers.
