INFORMATION ABOUT A MAJOR FIRE THAT OCCURRED ON THE TERRITORY OF THE ILE-ALATAU GNPP

For the third day, there is a fight against a large fire that occurred on the territory of the 12th quarter of the Kaskelensky forestry of the Aksai branch. The fire was monitored from the air. It was decided to attract additional forces and means of the Emergency Situations Ministry and the Ministry of Emergency Situations to combat the fire element. To extinguish the fire, a first-class Mi-8 helicopter with an external suspension spillway device was involved, from which a total of more than 15 targeted water discharges were carried out on fire foci, with a total tonnage of more than 30 tons. Fire extinguishing is complicated by inaccessible mountainous terrain, poor visibility and difficult meteorological conditions.
