On August 6, 2021, a fire was discovered on the territory of the Karazhar tract of the Naurzum GPP. Paratroopers-firefighters of the Kostanay aviation department and ground forest guards with equipment were sent to the place of fire to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread.
