On May 28, 2021, a steppe fire broke out on the territory of the Angabatyr rural district with a threat to the 98th quarter of the Zolotobor forestry of the State Scientific and Production Enterprise "Burabay". Paratroopers-firefighters of the Borovsk aviation department, employees of the ground forest guard with equipment were sent to the place of the fire to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread.
