A fire was discovered on November 5, 2020

On November 5, 2020, a steppe fire was discovered on the territory of state reserve lands (buffer zone) adjacent to the state forest fund. There was a threat that the fire would move to the territory of the 9th quarter of Gornoye lesnichestvo, Karkaralinsky SNPP.

The forces and means of the Karkaralinsky aviation department, the Karkaralinsky GNPP and the OCHS of the Karkaralinsky region were thrown into the fight against the fire element. Fire extinguishing was complicated by strong winds (up to 12 m / s) and the presence of high dry grass stand. The fire was extinguished on an area of ​​91 hectares (of which 17 hectares are SFF (non-forest)).
