Guarding the Katon-Karagaya forest

Everyone knows such a beautiful place as the Katon-Karagai region. On July 17, 2001, by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Katon-Karagayskiy State National Park was created. In 2014, the park was included in the UNESCO list of specially protected heritage. This is the largest national park in Kazakhstan. It is included in the top 20 pristine places in Kazakhstan.

On the territory of this greatness there is the Katon-Karagai aviation department, one of the subdivisions of the State Enterprise "Kazakh base of aviation forest protection and forestry services". The task of the unit is protection and protection of forests from fires and prevention of violations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of forestry.

The serviced area is 1230 thousand hectares. The employees do their job professionally and in full. They took part in liquidation of large forest fires more than once. They hope that by their work they will help preserve the nature of their native land for their children.
